Nantucket has three trustees that form the Board of Trustees and derive their authority to govern the affairs of the subdivision from the Nantucket indentures that are posted on this website. The trustees are elected by the homeowners in accordance with the indentures to a three year term, or appointed by the existing board to fill open positions as vacancies occur.
The Board of Trustees meet once a month, typically in the clubhouse, to conduct the business of the subdivision. Meeting attendees may include the trustees, an administrative representative of the Property Management Company, and any resident who desires to attend. Elections are scheduled once a year, and coincides with the Annual Homeowners Meeting.
